Our Operations
We are a team of experienced farmers who have pulled resources together and teamed up in a community effort to provide the best produce from Southern Africa harnessing every strength from within our partnership.
We draw on our experiences, using best practices in agricultural production, supply chain management and market-based solutions.
We aim to produce and supply fresh, healthy fruits and vegetables using bio-friendly chemicals and proper post-harvest management (to minimise waste). Our operations are aimed at eliminating climate change impacts, working through internationally regulated environments and sufficient access to information. We promote green technologies leading to reduced post-harvest losses, and decreased use of pesticides, herbicides, and water. We promote the use of agro-forestry, alternative energy, drip irrigation, mulching, crop diversification, and improved varieties which increase production as well as resilience to climate change at the farm and value chain level. We are also Global GAP certified (Global GAP number 4063061110329). We adapt to production planning and improved handling of produce to meet identified market demands, seeking to address bottlenecks and implement best practices, whilst seeking to improve consumers’ dietary behaviour and create employment opportunities for young people.
We also seek good business connections and additional financers to keep growing our business along the way.
